It seems as though most of my clientele are interested in painting their exteriors this season. Everyone wants a home that stands out a bit from the neighboring houses. They want their house to be admired. I have also noticed that lots of us baby boomers are asking, "What color should I paint the house if I want to sell it in the next few years?"
The editors at Owners.com asked me if I could help homeowners with tips for exteriors, with special attention to readers preparing to sell their homes. The timing couldn’t be better. Here is the article: HOME MAKEOVER: EXTERIOR PAINT IDEAS AND TIPS FROM PAINT COLOR EXPERT BONNIE KRIMS"
The N.C. Wyeth’s Men of Concord exhibit is up and running at the Concord Museum through September 18 of 2016. I enjoyed helping Carol Haines, the Manager of Exhibitions and Design, to select paint colors for the exhibit. It's always a true pleasure to be a participant in this process.
Here we are at the entrance to the exhibit. Wyeth created twelve large paintings for an illustrated book of Thoreau's journal entries, published in 1936 by Houghton Mifflin as "Men of Concord and Some Others, as Portrayed in the Journal of Henry David Thoreau". For the first time in nearly 80 years, these paintings are reunited for this exhibition.

I got a real kick out of the backstory to the painting, Thoreau and the Three Reformers. To the right, you see Thoreau with his back to the three men and can only imagine what is going on in his mind.
Give us a holler, We're happy to help.
